The comparison war

New Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector ALL-DAY Shine Control BB Cream SPF 20

vs.

Older version of Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream by Garnier SPF 15

THE NEW B.B. CREAM

What it promises/what it says the box:

Broad Spectrum SPF 20
Controls Shine
Minimizes Pores
Evens
Hydrates
Oil Free
Dermatologist tested for safety
Non-comedogenic-won't clog pores
Non acnegenic- won't cause breakouts
Gentle to Skin
Non-greasy
93% saw a more even skintone
88% had a natural shine-free finish
84% found pores less visible
76% saw fewer imperfections
WOAH..that was alot.

The new version in light/medium is even lighter than the older version's light/medium.
They both cost the same. $12.00 at drugstores. (Got mine at Target )
It has the same consistency as the Revlon Color Stay for oily/combo skin. Runny and blend-able.
It blends in with your skin well and has a mattifying finish, similar to how a primer would feel. (Like the Smashbox photo finish foundation primer).
It does feel more dry than the older version (which feels greasy and heavy).
The new one is on the lighter side.
Lasting-power is still the same. This will fall off your face if you don't use a powder to finish. However, it does a decent job of absorbing the oil for the first few hours after application. (Eh, like 3 hours?)

Crown Points of the New Version:
Crown Points of Older Version:

1) The new version has a different cap than the older one. The new one has a detached cap, the older cap is attached to the bottle.

2) The new version is WAY MORE runny than the older one. It is also more creamy. Shown above.

Bottom: New Version with ALL-DAY Shine Control properties

Newer version finishes more matte, more coverage and lighter. Not sure if this is breaking me out yet. Will update.***

Older version finishes greasy, heavy but coverage is good. Older version tends to make me breakout.

If you loved the older version you will love this one as well. Who wants a oily face?
If you hated the older version, you will probably be good skipping this one. It does not feel much different than the older version.

~Until next time~
