Birchbox and IPSY (myglam) bag February 2014!!

Hello my follow beauty junkies, I am going to go through what is in the February BirchBox versus IPSY bag today! Let's just say I am VERY excited to try some of the products in them. Having these subscriptions is truly like having Christmas every month, I never know what I am going to get but I know it's always beauty related. Hehehe.

The BirchBox

1) A sample swatch plate of Smashbox's new Full Exposure palette. All neutral shades but some are matte and some are shimmery. Am I the only one that thinks there are WAY too many neutral palettes on the market these days? I am still sticking to my Urban Decay Naked palettes. Don't get me wrong, the pigmentation of these shadows are amazing but I just have too much neutral shadows already!

2) A hair oil by Beauty Protector. A decent oil, but nothing that gives miracles.

3) A hot pink to red color changing nail polish by Ruby Wing. Cool idea, my first color changing nail polish.

4) SmashBox Full exposure mascara. A product from the same line of the shadow palette. It is not good for Asian eye lashes because these will weight your curlers down.

5) Coola mineral sunscreen BB cream. I am so excited to try these! I love these kind of face products because they are perfect for my travel makeup bag!

Overall, it was a good box.

The IPSY bag

1) Cute pink plain makeup bag. For Valentine's day theme.
2) FULL size City Color Be Matte Blush. I got the peach one. It is SO SO SO pretty. Super excited to try this on me. (See swatch below)
3) Pop Beauty Lip Gloss. Very pigmented lippie. See swatch below.
4) Liquid eye shadow in spiced run. See swatch below. I am very looking forward to use this. Brown-gold colors are my absolute fave.
5) Light pink Zoya nail polish. Full size.
6) NuMe hair mask. Small tube size.

Wow IPSY, 4 full size products this month. I am very impressed. Can we please have some skin care products next?

30 day product review --- The PoreFessional Agent Zero Shine Shine-Vanishing PRO powder by Benefit

The long awaited product...I finally got my hands on it as soon as they were available online.
Let's get right into my review!

1) Packaging is cute, name is cute BUT packaging is also kind of a hassle. I get the idea of including a cute little kabuki brush in the tiny little bottle but this little brush tends to come out by itself. I have dropped mine multiple times (or everytime I use it). Then again, maybe I'm just a klutz. :p

2) I was given the idea that this was a great coverage powder. Please listen before you buy, this is NOT. I should have known when this was a one shade for all kinda powder. This is a more of a translucent powder.

3) Funcationlity-wise, this definitely does what it says. I use it over a BB cream and it conceals my pores and get rid of any excess shine. It is not a good-coverage powder by any means! It is basically like the Makeup Forever High definition powder or the ELF HD powder. It is less white in shade and more a skin tone color. (See below picture) The texture of the two are similar.

4) For the price ($30 in your local Sephoras), I am not sure It is worth your while. Unless, you are like me and really need that extra pore coverage. I think I paid for my money's worth. :)
